What is the Sport Premium?
Sports Premium funding is allocated by the government and aimed at making additional and sustainable improvements to the quality of PE and sport in primary schools, so that all pupils are encourage to develop healthy and active lifestyles.
Year 6 Swimming Competency
We are required to publish the following information regarding the competency of the following swimming skills for our Year 6 pupils. As at 1st April 2024 there are 4 pupils in Year 6 and the competencies are as shown below
Swim competently, confidently and proficiently over a distance of at least 25 metres
36 out of 49 (73%)
Use a range of strokes effectively
27 out of 49 (55%)
Perform safe self-rescue in different water-based situations
48 out of 49 (98%)
