Return to School
Primary Phase
Thank you all for your amazing efforts with the remote learning since January. We know it hasn’t been easy but your efforts have been fantastic. Your positive responses to our questionnaire have been shared with staff and you gave us a collective 4.29 stars out of 5! Thank you for all of your support. Despite the successes of our remote provision, we are very much looking forward to welcoming all the Primary phase back to school on Monday 8th March. We have missed everyone and can’t wait to have everyone back together.

Secondary Phase
As you are aware, schools will be fully re-opening for pupils from Monday 8th March with a phased return to the secondary phase to accommodate asymptomatic testing of all pupils and staff using Lateral Flow Devices (LFDs). The phased return is to enable the school to test pupils and to ensure that every opportunity is taken to safeguard the health and well-being of our school and wider community.
To facilitate testing in school, the school will follow a phased reopening as set out below:
Monday 8th March | Y11 students |
Tuesday 9th March | Y10 & Y11 students |
Wednesday 10th March | Y7, Y10 & Y11 students |
Thursday 11th March | Y8, Y7, Y10 & Y11 students |
Friday 12th March | All students |

Lateral Flow Testing
We are looking forward to all pupils returning to school next week. The DfE have confirmed that schools will need to carry out a ‘lateral flow test’ on all consenting pupils as they return to school. Pupils will be tested on a further two occasions by Friday 19th March.
