Mission Statement

Ethos

Holy Trinity is the only voluntary aided 3-16 Catholic and Church of England school in the country. We offer a unique opportunity for pupils to explore their spiritual lives through the Christian faith as expressed in the Catholic and Church of England traditions.

At Holy Trinity, our Christian values and heritage form the foundation of all we do. We believe in the uniqueness of every person as a child of God. Holy Trinity inherits a very good reputation for the care, guidance and support we offer to pupils. This is reflected in our emphasis on the Parable of the Lost Sheep which underpins our commitment to each pupil’s wellbeing and growth, wherever they are on their learning journey.

“If a man has a hundred sheep, but one of the sheep gets lost, he will leave the other ninety-nine sheep on the hill. He will go to look for the lost sheep. And if he finds it, he is happier about that 1 sheep than about the ninety-nine that were never lost. I tell you the truth.  In the same way, your Father in heaven does not want any of these little children to be lost.”

Matthew 18:13-14

We focus particularly on the values of “repentance, forgiveness and reconciliation” and we look to unlock potential of all pupils by endorsing an inclusive and supportive atmosphere.

Our policies and practice reflect a desire to see that all pupils develop mutual respect, and ensure that positive relationships between pupils, staff, and parents form the basis of a successful and happy experience for all members of our school community.

School Prayer

Father
You send your word to bring us truth
And your spirit to make us holy.
Through them we come to know
The mystery of your life.
Help us to worship you
One God in three persons,
By proclaiming and living our faith in you
We ask you this, Father, Son and Holy Spirit,
One God, true and living, forever and ever
Amen.
