On Friday 26th January Holy Trinity took a team of Year 7 & 8 students, to participate in the Barnsley Secondary Schools Multi Skills event at Barnsley College.
The team competed against 6 other schools from across the borough in a variety of activities including target games, such as curling and basketball shooting, as well as some fitness-based ones like standing long jump and speed bounce.
When the scores were totted up our team finished in 4th place, however the whole afternoon was enjoyed by everyone who attended, with all players receiving medals and certificates.
The event was organised by Panathlon, a national charity which gives young people the opportunity to take part in SEND competitive sport and games.
